Jane Mulvagh is an historian and journalist. She made history herself when, as an undergraduate, she persuaded Cambridge University to accept Fashion History as an academic subject and a respected part of the History syllabus. She worked for British Vogue for 8 years, was a columnist for the Financial Times, and has been short-listed for Spear's Book of the Year.
